FLORENCE AND VENICE 2 DAYS TOUR BY TRAIN, PRIVATE TOUR
2 days Private Tour with tour-assistant to the north of Italy, starts in Rome by high-speed train to Venice and Florence. The city of Venice, called also the “floating” city, because it was built on 118 islands connecting by 150 channels and 400 bridges, is one of the most extraordinary cities in the world. Enjoy a walking tour with your guide: St. Mark’s Square and all the major sites nearby: St. Mark’s Basilica, the Ducal Palace,Rialto bridge, the famous Bridge of Sighs. In the afternoon continue the journey by train to Florence where you will visit the famous Michelangelo’s David into the Accademia Gallery, The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with the famous Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s bell tower, Piazza della Signoria.

Day 1: Rome – Venice – Florence
Pick up at your hotel in Rome (centrally located) by air-conditioned minivan. Meet your assistant at the train station. Train departure from Rome at: 06.50am or 07.50am . Arrival in Venice after 3h 45m. Upon arrival, let’s start with a walking tour through the bridges and canals. Visit St. Mark’s Square with the Basilica. See the Campanile, the Ducal Palace, the famous Bridge of Sighs. Time for lunch on your own. Free time for shopping. You can end your tour in Venice with a “Gondola ride” (optional not included). In the afternoon departure to Florence by fast train. Departure at 5.25 pm. or 06.25 pm. Arrival in Florence after 2h. Transfer to your hotel and dinner on your own.
Day 2: Florence – Rome
Full day in Florence. Enjoy a walking tour with your assistant-guide. See the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with the famous Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s bell tower, Piazza della Signoria. Then visit the “Accademia Gallery” where you can admire from a short distance the Michelangelo’s David.
Lunch on your own, free time for shopping. In the afternoon departure to Rome by high-speed train at 06.08pm. or 07.08pm. Arrival in Rome after 1h 30m. Transfer to your hotel in Rome (centrally located) by an air-conditioned minivan (included).
