The adventure begins at the Basilica of Santa Croce, where the tombs of some of the most famous figures in history, including Michelangelo, Galileo, and Ugo Foscolo, can be found. From here, we head to the iconic Ponte Vecchio, Florence’s oldest bridge. Ravaged by several floods, this extraordinary monument was rebuilt and today is home to the jewelry shops of Florence’s master goldsmiths, where you can admire their craftsmanship and perhaps take home a piece of local tradition.

Next, we visit the Mercato del Porcellino, a bustling market known for its handcrafted leather goods and fine Italian silks, followed by a visit to San Lorenzo Market, where the Mercato Centrale offers a wealth of ceramics, clothing, souvenirs, and authentic Tuscan leather products, including bags, belts, and jackets.

After exploring these lively markets, enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch, a true culinary experience that introduces you to the flavors of the region.

In the afternoon, meet with our local guide to dive deeper into Florence’s artistic and architectural treasures. Wander through medieval streets, visit artisans’ workshops, and admire masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, and Michelangelo, including the world-renowned David at the Accademia Gallery.

Although the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore dominates the Florence skyline with its famous dome designed by Brunelleschi, you will have the opportunity to admire its exterior, along with the Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell Tower, completing one of the city’s most iconic views. Then, head to Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of Florence since the 14th century, where history comes alive among its grand sculptures.

The tour concludes once again at Ponte Vecchio, where the timeless charm of this historic bridge invites you to take one last stroll through its goldsmith workshops, perhaps picking up a truly unique souvenir.
